Elixir of Life Recipe [ tested for efficacy]
Basic green smoothie recipe is a mix of fruits and green leaf vegetables.
Spices, seeds, nuts and other ingredients are optional.
Try adding whatever you like to match your mood.
4 slices of mango (or peaches, dates, plums, pear, apples etc.)
10-15 cherries (or blueberries, blackberries, strawberries etc)
250-350 grams spinach leaves (or Romaine lettuce, endive, kale, radish leaves etc.)
8 tsp flaxseeds (or walnuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds etc.)
500-600 ml water
1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or ginger powder, fenugreek etc.)
Optional: 1 tsp cacao powder. cucumber, broccoli, avocado
Directions: (makes about 1,5 liter)
Add all the ingredients in a blender: banana, half of the leaves, mango, cherries, flaxseeds, herbs, spices, rest of the green leaves and water. Blend at high speed for about a minute. It is ready to drink.
